That’s me…

Insanely passionate. Compassionate, yet no nonsense, no BS. A bit crazy (benignly so). If I can help, I will. I can’t, I’ll help you find someone who can. I mean this in the kindest way when I say:

My goal is to never speak to you again.

and I’m a health coach with Parsley Health

A progressive care model involves the collaboration of different practitioners such as doctors, nurse practitioners, and health coaches. Each provides specialized care while working together to ensure a thorough evaluation of your health and achievement of your goals. Parsley Health is a primary care clinic in SF, LA, and NYC (virtual visits available too) with a root-cause, whole person approach and a focus on data, technology, and genuine doctor-patient relationships. Check out Parsley and ask for me as your health coach(although all the health coaches are fantastic!)

If it isn’t the right time for you to join Parsley Health, simply connect with me and schedule your free 20-minute consultation.

How I came to be…

In 2004, I started having problems falling asleep due to a rapid heart rate and racing mind. I had lost weight, perspired easily, and had irregular menstrual periods which had never happened before. I was initially diagnosed with Graves' Disease and years later I developed Hashimoto’s thyroiditis, both autoimmune disorders.

What were the available treatment options recommended to me at that time? Lifelong anti-thyroid hormone to effectively temper production so I wasn't feeling so hyper, thyroidectomy (surgical removal), or iodine treatment which permanently damages the thyroid. I chose medication and continued for six years until I Googled "natural thyroid treatment" and found some studies linking gluten to autoimmune disease.

I decided to do an elimination diet, basically eating wholesome foods and removing gluten and dairy. Within a few months, my blood work showed normal thyroid levels and I ceased medication. I am walking proof that it is possible to reverse illness with nutrition and lifestyle changes.

How I’ve helped people like you!

The changes I saw in my own health motivated me to pursue a Masters in Human Nutrition and Functional Medicine, which I obtained last year with honors.

Since 2015, I’ve helped people with their health journeys:

  • H.H. lost 10 kilos in 6 weeks and stopped three medications including his daily insulin after incorporating a low-carb diet and exercise

  • G.K. stopped her thyroid medication after changing her diet and prioritizing sleep

  • K.H. felt energized and rejuvenated after healing her gut issues

  • M.H. stopped snoring, optimized his sleep, lost weight, and cleared his brain fog

…obesity, diabetes, HPA dysfunction, hyper- and hypothyroidism, PCOS, SIBO, candidiasis, sensory perception disorder, just to name a few.

No one illness is the same as we’re all biochemically unique and exposed to different environments. That’s why it’s critical to learn all about you, beyond your symptoms.

Treat the person, not the symptoms.

Optimal health is your birthright, but if you need a little help getting there, you’ve found it.
